Aflac has named Stephanie L. Shields as senior v . p . from the company’s broker sales in america.
Shields will are accountable to executive vice-president and chief distribution officer Richard L. Johnson Junior. In her own new role, she’ll assist in the execution of Aflac’s broker strategy by “leading a gifted group of broker sales professionals and leveraging Aflac’s strong relationships with national and regional insurance brokers,” a release stated.

Shields became a member of Aflac in 2014 – then as vice-president of strategy, product and marketing. Most lately, she offered as vice-president from the company’s Premier Broker and Product Solutions.
Just before joining Aflac, she held numerous positions of growing responsibility with Cigna, such as the role of vice-president, Cigna Voluntary Segment Leader. Before Cigna, Shields labored for Willis Towers Watson.
Shields received her Bs degree in Biobehavioral Health from Pennsylvania Condition College along with a Mba course degree from Drexel College.
